Hi Dearhearts!
I miss the old dA experience. I've been tossing around the idea of posting here again, but then I was reminded of why I left in the first place (art theft, community I knew has moved on, art theft, blaaah) -- though perfectly successful artists don't deal with that as much as I did(do). I know, though, that the experience still won't be what it was some...6-8 years ago. Good times.
So I miss you all. And hello to newer watchers! You're missing out on lovely arts, b/c everything here is in storage (except for a few things I unhid due to copyright claims).
Talked to other artist friends who've either left dA or don't use it as often (and some who do) and most agree it's something else entirely these days, mostly fan art/fetish art is popular, and facebook/instagram are where it's at.
Thoughts?

Follow me here instead, please, while I figure out if a dA presence is worth it:

EDIT: note that I took some of my work out of storage, cleaned up the gallery a bit, and have decided to be a bit active here and see what happens. If things become art theft-a-palooza again, then clearly this is the wrong decision. And if the community isn't hopping, then I'll just get lost somewhere else. <3

That's really gotten worse? :( I came back not too long ago after a 2 year hiatus. I created some social network accounts for my art but I figured I would keep dA as my main one. It just seems to me like it's harder to get exposure on Facebook and Instagram. Although, I haven't started posting yet...
