I see you've been doing a lot of tutorials lately. keep up the great work! But I do have a question for you, in the zodiac tutorial you did not too long ago, if people use/implemented what they learned in your tutorial into their art, would that be too much like copying your style? Can others use what they learned in your tutorials but add their own style to it?

The idea is to use the techniques and apply it to your own style/artwork. If you're using a tutorial just to copy what's there, you're not learning anything. If you use a technique, however, then you're able to bring something fresh to your own work and building up your own skill. Tutorials are structured, though, so users are completing a project and actively trying out the techniques used so they know how to use the tools in the programs, techniques used, and skills later in their own work with their own style.
In short: The point isn't to learn my style, but to learn how to use Illustrator and its various tools. Since I'm the one teaching, I'll be using my style to do so, whatever that may mean (just like any art class).
